Mount Airy Museum of Regional History, conveniently is located in the heart of historic downtown Mount Airy, the museum chronicles the life and culture of the region through 35,000 square feet of permanent and regular changing exhibits. Learn about our hometown heroes including Andy Griffith, Donna Fargo, Tommy Jarrell and Chang and Eng Bunker (The original Siamese twins), follow the great wagon road to a new life in "The Hollows", or explore our "Hands-onHistory" children's gallery. There is something for everyone at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History.
